This design is based on a wallpaper pattern created by William Morris (1834–1896), who is especially famous for his association with the Arts and Crafts Movement. It shows Lodden roses in bloom, among an elegant arrangement of foliage; the leaves are blue and green, while the flowers are red, white and yellow.
