London Cab Postcard

London Cab Postcard

Proudly British, the evolution of the iconic 'black cab'. The marketing slogan on the cab pictured here is a take on the album "London Calling" by English punk rock band The Clash, released 1979. A hackney cab is able to pick up passengers without prior bookings. Taxi operators who do not own a hackney license must take a booking before collecting passengers. See many more iconic travel photos of London on the Splendid London DVD Postcard, one of a series of the “I Was Here!” DVD Postcards by Bauer Photography and Media.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
