It has a distinctively shaped leaf that comes fairly early in spring which is followed later by the yellow tulip-shaped flowers that give it its name. This is a lovely ornament, and great that you personalise the back with details of birthday, weight, etc.. My only tiny disappointment is the "My First" doesn't stand out very well on the background. More than happy with the printing of the photo and the writing on the back.
