Even though the size is small and the composition is simple, Qi Baishi"s floral painting reveals a tiny yet vivid world to viewers. Qi combined easy and delicate brushes in his floral paintings. For example, free-stroked flowers were usually collocated with bugs in fine brushworks. Loquats look like golden stars and imply fortune and luck.
