The flower symbolism associated with the lotus is estranged love and forgetfulness of the past. The lotus is the national flower of India. The blue or Indian lotus, also known as the bean of India and the sacred water-lily of Hinduism and Buddhism. Lotus roots are also used widely in Asian cooking. The English name is derived from the flower name, from Latin lotus, from Greek lotos, a name for various kinds of plants before it came to designate the Egyptian "white lotus." The Greek word may ultimately come from Hebrew lowt, meaning "covering, veil." This is one of my photos turned fractal.

I love the symbolism in this piece! The olive branches and flowers reminding us of Gethsemane and the joy of the resurrection. The candle reminding us of Christ's light and love. I've dropped it a few times already and it has held together nicely. Couldn't be more pleased with this product! Would definitely buy again. The printing was as expected on the front. Clear colors. The back where the artist put her brand name was a bit faded, but still readable.

I always worry when I order something customized, but this was just as I'd hoped it would be. My grandson will love it,. I spelled words wrong on purpose and they printed it just as it was entered. A quality, durable ornament. Fun to find the Glockenspiel photo online. Adding the cymbals and snare drum on the back brings back memories of my Marching days in school. Fun to design and another ornament to the tree of instruments I can play. The printing is crisp and bright. I am continuing each year to add ornaments of instruments I can play to a small tree I will leave up all year.
