Ludwig van Beethoven in neon typography design Jandals

Ludwig van Beethoven, the genius from Bonn, Germany, was born on 1770. Beethoven is one of my favourite composers, and his influence in the development of classical music is immense. I used bright, bold letters, in neon colouring, over a more sober, darker background. The background image in the Beethoven design was created from a photograph of a bust of the German composer. This photograph was later given a poster-like look and transformed to a grayscale palette. This managed to give it an edgier, more abstract aesthetic. The letters spelling out Ludwig van Beethoven are divided into groups of 3, and coloured in Green, Blue and Orange. This is a great gift for classical music lovers, specially fans of Beethoven's music. I also created a variation of this design with a black background, but the image can be placed over any colour of your liking. It looks particularly well as a paper product, or on products with a vertical orientation.
