M1 Bull Moose Square Paper Coaster

Big bull moose staring me down from about 40 yards, these big herbivores can be quite intimidating when they spot you and come in close to check you out, they have great hearing and sense of smell but not very good eye sight. Lucky for me it was about a month past their rutting season, I slowly crouched down into my blind and stayed still hoping once he picked up my human scent he would back off, after few tense minutes he turned and continued on his way, this photo was taken by a slightly shaky Flatlandersam in south east Alberta, Canada.
