Macro Seaweed Cushions

Henry Bradbury, 1831 - 1860. Bradbury used a printing method called 'Nature Printing' where by he pressed his specimens onto soft plates made from lead or copper leaving a very fine detailed impression. After several stages of pressing, the specimens were hand colored ready for the final printing process.
