Madeira Island photo with Typical Houses, Portugal Espresso Cup
This is a photo of Madeira Island, Portugal, showing the typical houses. Madeira captivates visitors with its enchanting beauty amidst the Atlantic Ocean. This paradise boasts stunning landscapes, vibrant flora, and a rich cultural tapestry. One of its most iconic attractions is Santana's Typical Houses, a collection of charming dwellings that showcase the island's heritage.
The Santana houses, known as "palheiros," are chraacterised by their triangular thatched roofs and colourful doors. These unique structures have stood the test of time, preserving the traditional way of life in Madeira. Stepping into one of these houses feels like entering a bygone era.
Madeira’s small, triangular houses were once made of straw taken from the cereal plantation and wood from the forests. These materials were cheap and abundant in this region and important to balance the temperature of the interior. The high slope of the roofs allowed the rainwater to drain. We estimate that triangular houses are traces of primitive constructions. Inside only an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor, where the residential area was located, divided into two separate parts, the kitchen, and the bedroom. Santana city centre is the best place on Madeira island to observe the traditional houses of Madeira
By exploring the Traditional Houses of Madeira you can learn about the island's customs, crafts, and folklore. Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or a cultural escape, Madeira Island and Santana's Typical Houses have something to offer every traveller. While dreaming of visiting this gem in the Atlantic and creating memories that will last a lifetime, here’s a photograph of Madeira Island that you can take home or offer a relative or a Portuguese friend, or a Nature lover.

I love this espresso mug! It's big enough for a double espresso, not too heavy though and just looks cute. The sloth on it looks friendly, almost as if it was smiling and together with the white hearts on the right and left hand side, it is nothing but very cute. Also very pleased with the intensity of the colors. Colors are really good. Print is sharp.

I am the artist who created this image.
I have not ordered an espresso cup before.
I have ordered other zazzle mugs before and we use them constantly at home.
I love these small cups, I will be giving them as presents to everyone from now on.
The product arrived in the UK 7 days from ordering, impressive.
I ordered these cups from StrangeStore for an exhibition of my artwork and the zazzle have attracted so much attention. As a long term professional illustrator and designer I have very exacting standards, so I was very interested to see how this design would print.
It is simply brilliant.
The printing is awesome!
I have worked with top pottery companies in the UK and this printing is really very good indeed. I have no hesitation displaying this product right next to the original artwork, it's that good.
