Mandala of Peace on Earth Stickers

In the aftermath of 9/11, I joined in the collective sadness this tragically evil event evoked not just in our nation, but our world. Rather than allow this evil to provoke in my heart the desire for revenge and war, instead I transferred that sadness into the spirit of the Christian Left to redouble a yearning for Peace on Earth. Using several KPT filters as well as other layering and filtering effects in Photoshop, and 3D rendering of the Earth in Bryce, I created this image, which I titled Mandala of Peace on Earth. It was among the first of the images included in the Impressions Project. I continue in the quest for others to join me in the longing this image represents, and write their impressions inspired by it. In it we see ethereal doves descending upon the Earth from the four cardinal points. They come to encourage as the name states, Peace on Earth. As a meditation Mandala, this sentiment is also its objective. Meditate while gazing upon this Mandala, seeking to encourage the manifestation of this peace filled energy spreading all around the Earth. This design has now been improved to insure that all the important design elements are well within the safe zone of the product.
