About This Design
Maori scorpion T-Shirt
The scorpion is often seen as a symbol of danger, of death, but many cultures consider it a symbol of life instead. Its poison can be used to heal, and not only to harm.
That´s why we placed a symbol of protection like the tiki on its body, and also to be a symbol of fertility (the sting is often seen as a male symbol). The pincers are made of waves because the scorpio in the zodiac is a water sign, and the two fish hooks are a symbol of wealth and abundance. Korus represent renewal and the matching spyrals are meant to represent encounters. In Indian traditions, the scorpion bite is considered similar to love for how it affects the behaviour of the people who get touched by it.

I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.
