Maru ni Futatsu Biki Tie

【Maru-ni-futatsubiki】The Hiki-Ryo crest, or Hiki-Ryo mon, is believed to have originated from the curtain used on the battlefield during the Genpei period. The military curtain was made by sewing five pieces of fabric together, with the middle piece dyed black, called 'nakaguro'. This is called 'Hitotsu Hiki-Ryo'. 'Futatsu Hiki-Ryo' is made by layering fabric in white, black, white, black, and white from top to bottom...
