PLEASE NOTE THIS PRODUCT HAS A DIFFERENT DESIGN ON EACH SIDE. I have been fascinated with Japanese culture, language and craftmanship ever since I went to school and learnt Japanese, as well as practicing Aikido for a little while during my university days. A few years ago, I started creating products with Japanese family crests, known as mon or kamon, which of course has significant meaning to anyone who has one, but which also can serve as beautiful Japanese-style decorations for anyone else with an interest in Japanese culture. This product combines two kamon: Maruni Tsuta (ivy leaf) and Agehachoo (butterfly), one on each side.
