Marvin Jello was a mascot for Jello in 1930 for one advertisement only – one very depressing advertisement, a cartoon strip in which Marvin offered Jello to cheer up an unemployed family on the breadline. Maybe that's why they didn't use him again. To the best of my knowledge, this character is now in the public domain.
