Mary Cassatt - Lilacs in a Window Tile

Mary Cassatt - Lilacs in a Window Tile

Lilacs in a Window (Vase de Lilas à la Fenêtre), painted in 1880-1883 in oil on canvas by American Impressionist painter Mary Stevenson Cassatt. It presents a lush bouquet of purple and white lilacs in a vase beside a sunlit window. One of Cassatt's rare pure still lifes, the painting combines a structured composition with the soft abundance of spring flowers.

My fiancé and I were happy when we received the tile. It’s Peru and was worth paying extra for expressing postage. Good quality and it is exactly like we wanted it. We are very pleased.
