Matterhorn Peak Switzerland Sunset Poster

I was certain that it would be cold and rainy during my entire trip to Switzerland. I was sure that the mountain peaks would be covered with thick clouds, and I wouldn't actually see the impressive beauty of the Matterhorn. But I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have clear, beautiful views. The soft clouds were beautiful surrounding the Matterhorn's peak. The evening light cast a pink glow across the rugged landscape. I sat and watched the colours transform the scene, waiting for the perfect moment when the light surrounded the rugged "Tooth". As a professional photographer, I have seen my share of beautiful mountains. But nothing quite like The Matterhorn. I love the softness of the pink sunset with the iconic, rugged peak.
