To this day, the iron cross sits on the hillside overlooking the mountain city of Corte, Corsica (a territory of France). The Mediterranean winter shows in the dim colours in the background as the wrought iron cross draws our thoughts and attention towards heaven. Just as this cross looks down on the city day after day so God watches over all of His children day after day, moment after moment. He is always there. He never leaves us or forsakes us. Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden."

The colours were rich and the image sharp.
