Caerlaverock Castle, near Dumfries, Scotland, was home and a stronghold of the Maxwell family for centuries. The triangular structure, with moat, was built in the 13th century. Located at the edge of the Caerlaverock National Nature Reserve, the fortress was occupied by the Maxwells until the 17th century, when it was abandoned. This puzzle design is available in several sizes and degrees of difficulty.
