Mediaeval Angel With Harp Gold Renaissance Fine Ar Postcard
This beautiful smiling golden mediaeval angel is an illumination by the Italian Renaissance artist Cristoforo Cortese. The angel is holding a musical instrument identified as a Portative Organ (a term I love). This artwork comes from a mediaeval manuscript and the original is actually very small. Cortese painted this mini-masterpiece between the years 1401 and 1407. Please note, this design fits nicely into all shapes of sticker! So explore a bit and see what you like.
