mediaeval knights jousting horses historic art skateboard

The design on this skateboard deck is one of my favourite paintings, it's titled "The Four Knights of The Forest Festival." I painted it from a photograph that I took when I was at the Forest Festival on Chingford Plains in the UK. The festival is on every year and it celebrates all things to do with the historic Epping Forest. On two of the years that we attended we were lucky enough to see the re-enactment of a traditional joust between four knights, each knight was representing his "kingdom." I captured the photograph as the knights were parading around the jousting area and I couldn`t wait to paint it. The Black Knight went on to achieve a glorious victory over the other three knights. I think this original realist English jousting image looks great on this skateboard and will be a great gift for someone special. The original artwork is worked in full colour soft pastel, this image on this unique deck has been digitally enhanced to give it a sepia effect This is a customisable skateboard, you can personalise it with your own text.
