mediaeval knights jousting on horses art card

This is one of my favourite paintings, it's titled "The Four Knights of The Forest Festival." I painted it using a photograph that I took when I was at the Forest Festival on Chingford Plains in the UK. The forest festival is held every year and it celebrates everything to do with historic Epping Forest. On two of the years that we attended we were lucky enough to see the re-enactment of a traditional joust between four knights on horseback, each knight is representing his "kingdom." I captured the photograph as the knights were parading around the jousting area and I couldn’t wait to paint it. The Black Knight went on to achieve a glorious victory over the other three knights. I think this original realist art picture looks great on this customisable dad (fathers day or birthday) card. You can pesronalize this greeting card with your own text.
