Fabric & Care

  • Material: Ultra-stretch polyester spandex blend. Legging is 79% polyester, 21% spandex. Capri is 88% polyester, 12% spandex
  • Sturdy, breathable, and stretches to fit your body
  • High spandex composition means compression fit won't lose shape; hugs in all the right places and bounces back after washing
  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Or hand wash. Tumble dry medium heat. Do not bleach

Mediaeval Red Yellow Ferrer Derby Heraldic Pattern Leggings

You'll look quite different in these great Yoga leggings covered in the famous Family crest fur pattern Ferrer of Derby in the mediaeval heraldic style. If you're into renaissance fairs, this is for you. You probably have seen a family crest ring on somebody's hand. Usually they contain some animal, like a heraldic lion. But often they show typical heraldic patterns. I particularly like the bold colours and clear geometric designs. For instance the fur, or in this design the "vairy or and gules" from the coats of arms of the Ferrer family. In the middle ages they were the earls of Derby. The pattern is called a vair, a subgroup of the heraldic classification fur. It is red on "metallic gold" and it makes a great pattern for surfaces.

The product is carefully made and the print is good quality. The fabric really comfy amd stretchy. The only thing is I wish the waist wasn't so small. After 3 kids I still am a medium but not a Barbie.. The fabric feels durable and supportive. I love wearing these leggins from cycling to dancing to casual events. Wonderful with great detail, true to tartan. It only looks stretched on the buttocks.
