The Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge is a historic monument located in Višegrad, spanning the emerald waters of the Drina River. Commissioned by Grand Vizier Mehmed Paša Sokolović and designed by the legendary Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan, the bridge was completed in 1577.
