    The water towers of Mendocino are as iconic as the cable cars are to San Francisco. This one was built in 1870, and is the home and Gallery of award-winning artist Suzi Long. This water tower still serves the property on which it stands, has 2500 gallons in the lower tank, and all the original red would beams from long ago. Suzy offers a class and drawing this water tower, teaching novices from the age of 5 to 95 some basic art instruction. The class is a lot of fun and you can take your sketchbook and little paint box in paint whatever you see!
