Perhaps it's because I was missing my alligators and tropical climate back home in Florida (I just painted this one while visiting my folks up in the Midwest) - but I really wanted to paint a mermaid with a baby alligator. I like to think of mermaids as living in all sorts of bodies of water - not just the ocean, but streams, lakes, ponds - maybe even the Everglades! *Public Service Announcement: - mermaids are MAGICAL CREATURES. You humans are best off staying the hell away from alligators! The product got here on time. I put it in a frame on my daughters wall. She is loving the chart. When she wants to check how she feels, she just walks over and points. It goes well as a companion to the Teddy, How Do You Feel? book. Would buy as a gift for others. The colors are great. The pictures are clear and very noticeable.
