What happens when 3 dimensional objects become merged with 2D? Certain objects here transform into their respective backgrounds. This picture plays with magic realism, optical illusions & distance perspective and was inspired from trompe l'oeil methods as well as some of Escher's work; mainly "Reptiles" & "Drawing Hands". Naturally, the human mind likes to bring order within chaos thus this piece was designed to confuse the mind of the viewer. © Andy King
