Mexican Amate Bark Painting - Sweet Story Poster

I love these as did Mother, and we lost so many originals from Mexico when the Hudson house flooded. This is a vector image of a bark painting. I placed this on the more expensive matte paper choice (as all the originals from Mexico we had were on the bark parchment on plaques with a final finish, some were framed, etc.); yet, you might want to consider how you want to present it and choose your paper stock accordingly. I would definitely (and will order it myself) frame it. If you aren't familiar with the process, there are some nice stories on the Internet; yet, I have to add something I'll never forget. My final career aside from Zazzle (along with Zazzle) was teaching public school art. This was a project I did once. I asked my students to bring in brown paper grocery bags, and Mother waxed and ironed them for me after I cut them to size. This touched my heart as my students did daily. There was one student from a special needs class - a really REALLY big boy who never spoke to anyone (and my friend, his teacher, said to not push him to work or he'd hit me which he never did). He came up to my desk during the project, didn't say a word, and like a magician pulling out the scarf, he started pulling PLASTIC grocery bags out of every pocket on his jeans. Bless his heart, so what if he didn't get it quite right, unlike all I was told and ignored, he wanted to help, and oh yes, I praised and thanked him for every bag (I think he had over 20 on him). So ... the project was a success in more ways than I expected, and I'll always remember that day. Thanks for being here with me. Enjoy.
