Mexican Mayan / Aztec Calendar Clock

This is one of my few Aztec pieces. Normally, I feature Tikis, idols, and Polynesian pieces. As with those, I fully appreciate and respect the culture and the people of Mexico. We have been fortunate to visit several times and love the nation. I design other Tiki, idol, and Polynesian pieces with the utmost respect. Each piece is meticulously researched and presented as an image and item of cultural and, to some, religious significance. These are truly archaeological studies of a proud culture that deserves more respect and admiration than they receive. Before their lands became tourist destinations and market-places, they were sacred and pure. Sure, we can all enjoy "tiki culture", however, we should do so in a respectable manner with realistic, archeologically sound samples of work. Enjoy! Aloha! Christopher C. Courter Los Angeles, CA
