I could not tell it from my computer screen, but this map has the visual character of an aged, previously folded parchment map. Although the actual surface is new & semi-gloss, the optical effect is that of an unfolded map with character and history of its own.The expanse of the map in this 36" X 21" configuration covers from islands to the west to a mountain range east of Mordor. At this size, it is easy to read the details. The colors are rich & nuanced, print quality is excellent, and the printed-on aging & map-fold effect is very satisfying. Well done.
