The intention is to show that the wedding or event brings together people of different backgrounds including but not limited to Mi'kmaq and Celtics. Mi'kmaq Star is a sun image intended to represent the unity of the Mi'kmaq. The Serch Bythol is a symbolic dislpay of two trinity knots combined like two souls bound by vows.
