Original fine art hand drawing etched on rubber stamp. this is my drawing, done in black ink of a milkweed plant. Milkweeds are vital for the endangered monarch butterflies as it is their primary source of food as they migrate over the midwestern USA to Mexico. As the praires diminish over the midwest region, where I live, the milkweeds diminish also. Monarchs ages ago used to be so numerous as they made their yearly migration the sky would darken so deeply it would seem as if it were night.
