Miss Barbara de Selincourt (by Herbert James) Rectangular Sticker
This design features a painting by the English Neoclassicist painter Herbert Draper (1863–1920). is a full-length portrait of a girl standing beside a wooden chair. Barbara de Selincourt stands almost in profile, but turns her head towards the viewer. Her long reddish-brown hair falls loosely over her shoulders and is held back by a pale pink or mauve ribbon. Her expression is calm and serious, with her dark eyes looking directly outward. Draper avoids an exaggerated smile or theatrical pose, giving the portrait a quiet and slightly reserved character. Barbara wears a delicate, pale lavender-grey dress with short sleeves and several soft layers of fabric forming the skirt. A broad mauve sash is wrapped around her waist and tied into a large bow at the back. The light fabric is painted with touches of pink, blue, violet and white, creating the impression of shimmering folds rather than a single flat colour. White stockings and pale shoes complete her outfit, while the pink band in her hair echoes the colour of the sash. Barbara rests both hands lightly on the curved back of a tall wooden chair. One leg is placed slightly in front of the other, giving the pose a relaxed elegance rather than the stiffness of a formal standing portrait. On the seat of the chair lies a colourful floral cushion, and a length of mauve ribbon hangs down around the chair. These decorative details introduce stronger colours into the lower part of the composition and connect visually with the ribbons of Barbara's dress. The subdued background allows her pale dress, warm skin and dark hair to stand out more clearly. The lighting is gentle and even, with none of the dramatic contrasts found in Draper's mythological paintings. Instead, the emphasis is on the sitter herself and on the textures of her hair, clothing, ribbons and the polished wooden chair. The original artwork was painted by Herbert Draper circa 1919.

I have wanted to do a Halloween bottle label display and Zazzle products worked great for this. My husband made the design for "devil's brew" and I put them on stickers and order several different ones. They all arrived on time and looked fantastic. Printing was Fantastic. Colors and design we're just how we had original planned.
