Monday, August Tie
[Monday on August] Tsukiyo-on. It was called 'Heian Monkan' or 'Monten,' but depending on the literature, it was also called 'Mikkazuki Kuyo' or 'Tsuki ni Yayo.' Incidentally, in "Nihon Monshogaku" written by Yorisuke NUMATA, an authority of Kamon, there is a difference in the number of stars, but the family crest 'Juyo' was introduced in the same pattern, and it says 'What is made of the moon and nine stars is called Juyo,' so some people consider this as 'Mitsukazuki Kuyo' by replacing it with 'What is made of the moon and eight stars is called Kyuyo.' The description of 'Mitsukazuki Kuyo' is also found in "Shoemonokuni Tour of Provinces" by Motoji NIWA (P56, by Kiji NIWA).
