The most beautiful thing I ever saw when I lived in North Dakota, was the night moon lighting up clouds that were travelling by. This painting reminds me of that. Aert van der Neer was so talented that even centuries later, people can connect with it. Aert van der Neer's creation comes to life here. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Look closely. You can see the reflection of the moon in the water, underneath the bridge. This work was probably painted around 1649. Buy as is or add text. Public domain work. Enhanced by Sharon Lee Hudson.
