This painting is of one of New England's Great Lighthouses under the light of a full moon. I have different ways of painting my night scenes, because I have some sort of night vision colour blindness problems, and I see colours different at night. All might night scenes have a strange impressionistic look, but that's the way I see them. Many people like my night and early evening paintings the best, but that depends on how you perceive colour and light. I do enjoy painting the Nubble lighthouse in any kind of light.
