This is a digitally enhanced version of William Morris's Vine (1873) famous pattern. William Morris was one of the most active figures in the British Arts and Crafts movement, which looked to preindustrial societies to address anxieties about mechanised labour and mass production. Although he also designed furniture, stained glass, textiles, and books, he is perhaps best recognised for his wallpaper designs based on England’s countryside flora.
