Morristown and Erie Railroad Engine # 22 Poster

Morristown and Erie Railroad Engine # 22 Poster

From www.railphotoexpress.biz; Morristown & Erie Railroad can trace its roots to the original Whippany River Railroad, which was chartered on August 1, 1895.It was constructed to connect Morristown and Whippany. Interchange was established with the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad at Morristown. When the railroad defaulted on their bonds, paper mill owner Robert W. McEwan purchased the line from its creditors in 1896. Thanks to the numerous mills and other customers located along the line, the railroad enjoyed success and was looking to expand. Morristown & Erie Railroad # 22 was built 9/54. It was UP # 278. Ex-Morrison-Knudsen #5001. It was rebuilt with A Stelzer engine by M-K, reverted to GP9 with EMD engine by M&E. It is no longer in service. Photo Copyright © Stan Feldman 9/07/2006.

I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
