The original Mother Church edifice stands fortress-like in front of the domed extension. Pale blue and amethyst tints give way to the sunlight of a risen day, in yellows, pinks, and a shower of gold leaf, which encompasses and delineates the dome, spire and architectural impressions. The artist, Peter Stilton, is internationally known. His paintings and sculptures are in private and corporate collections all over the world…from Tel Aviv to Stockholm, including a commission for the Saudi royal family’s summer palace Peter was the first American to have a one-man show at the Sorbonne (University of Paris).

I fell in love with this painting when I saw it at the Peter Stilton Studio in Tampa. I am fortunate to know the artist personally. The mother church is a very large painting and costs several thousand dollars. With Zazzle, I get to enjoy this beauty for so much less. I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
