Hotta mokko T-Shirt

The crest used by the legitimate descendant Masatoshi's family was 'initially, a corner-cut kaku with a vertical mokko was used. Masatoshi changed it to the current crest on July 22, 1679' (Kansei Reformation Family Records). The 'current crest' is the 'Hotta mokko' with 'ishimochi jinuki', nearly 20 years after the main family line disappeared. Moreover, the territory ruled by the Masatoshi Hotta family was transferred to the Ou region, and then returned to the old territory of Sakura in 1746. ...In the difficult times at the end of the Edo period, the last Roju of the Hotta family, Masayoshi Hotta, was produced. Masayoshi struggled to conclude the Ansei provisional treaty with American envoy Harris, and was replaced by Ii Naosuke, who was later assassinated at the Sakurada gate.
