Mount Bromo Indonesia Postcard

Mount Bromo is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif in East Java. Standing at 2,329 metres, it is world-renowned for its surreal, otherworldly landscape, chraacterised by the vast 'Sea of Sand' and the billowing white smoke constantly rising from its crater. The view from the surrounding viewpoints at sunrise is one of the most iconic sights in Indonesia. The volcanic peaks rise above a blanket of clouds, illuminated by layers of pink, orange, and gold light, creating a dramatic and ethereal atmosphere that feels like a scene from another planet.
