What a gorgeous sight this was! I got up before dawn and marched my way to the lake and found this awesome sight of a completely calm lake while mist was boiling up into the air. In the distance you'll see Castle Peak hovering over the scene with a hint of clouds turning pink from the sunrise. It was taken at Serene Lakes, CA. Which lies on the summit of the Sierra Nevada Mountains near the ski resort Sugar Bowl. In the distance you can see Castle Peak.
