I was truly inspired by this scene in Serene Lakes, CA. (so inspired I came back to it 3 times before I was satisfied with shooting conditions) . I composed this shot by balancing the grass in the foreground with the three trees in a row bordering the frame. The reflections of the clouds & cabins were perfect when the water became totally still. Serene Lakes rest on the summit of the Sierra Nevada Mountains just behind Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. I shot in this area for a week and came back with several images I've posted as prints.
