Muscular dystrophy (MD) is a group of inherited muscle diseases and disorders that weaken the musculoskeletal system. Muscular dystrophies are chraacterised by progressive skeletal muscle weakness, defects in muscle proteins, and loss of muscle cells and tissue. Illustrated normal biceps as compared to biceps myopathy. Scientifically accurate. Great for school science (biology) lab, doctor offices, clinic, hospital,... for educational purposes.
