This is not a painting of a striking landscape, nor a beautiful woman, but a young man who proudly flexes his bicep to show for those who do not have. Is he a model? Or is he an artist like the others? The tight composition resembles those of Baroque with the complex game of cross-references between the parties. The fact remains that it represents the tangible results of physical training.
