Myths & Legends: Romulus and Remus Poster

According to Roman mythology, twin borthers Romulus and Remus were offsprings of the god Mars and vestal virgin Rhea Silvia, but abandoned as infants and miraculously saved by a she-wolf who nurtured them. Eventually, they were found by a shepherd and raised as his own. Romulus and Remus left an indelible mark on the world by founding Rome, which grew into one of the greatest empires in history. Rome's very name, in fact, is derived from Romulus, reflecting his role as the city's first leader. However, their tale takes a tragic turn as sibling rivalry and ambition came to a head, ending in the death of Remus at the hands of Romulus, thus underscoring the complexity of human ambition and the sacrifices often made in the pursuit of greatness.
