    Naveta des Tudons, Prehistoric Tomb - Menorca Magnet

    This magnet features Naveta des Tudons near Ciutadella, the boat-shaped prehistoric funerary monument built from massive dry-laid stones. This cyclopean tomb belongs to a monument type found only on Menorca and takes its name from a form resembling an inverted vessel. Excavations uncovered remains from about one hundred individuals, many dated to the 9th century BCE, together with personal objects and funerary goods.
