A charming country house surrounded by a bountiful flower garden is depicted in this circa 1916 Raphael Tuck & Sons vintage postcard, aptly titled "Bluhende". A winding path through flourishing blossoms of alyssum, hydrangea, sunflowers, hyacinth, and more leads to a patio table and tea set ready to welcome an enchanted guest. This digitally stitched rendition of the scene revives the glorious floral colours of Raphael Tuck's original postcard while giving the miniature "oilette" painting the rich dimensional look and texture of needlepoint.
