In the stories from my family’s history, the Nemunas River is very much a “character.” My cousin, who so kindly drove us and served as our guide in our travels from Vilnius to Kaunas and then to the heritage area near Sudargas, knew of this beautiful view from Vilkija, Lithuania.

The photo of the Nemunas River, a major river in Europe, became such a handsome small print for a tie, so compatible with blue, gray, and white jackets and shirts.
