National flag of Nepal The Nepali national is unusual in that is is formed from two pennant shapes, rather than being quadrilateral like all other national flags. It has a red background and blue border, and white sun and crescent moon emblems. It was adopted in 1962, and has a 5:4 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
