I didn't hold this up to the sky; I just got under it, and, to have the sun in the picture, I had a lot of luck for it to come out like this. It is so easy for it to be washed out, or to have huge bright lens flare artefacts. Plus, you generally can't actually see the viewfinder very well at all. Luck.
